Terms of Use
Last updated: July 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of unitedrenewals.com (the “Site”), operated by United Renewals. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Our service
United Renewals is a free home-improvement information and contractor-matching service. We connect homeowners with third-party contractors and referral partners who provide quotes and perform work. We do not perform home-improvement work ourselves and are not a party to any agreement you enter into with a contractor.
Informational content only
Cost figures, guides, and other content on the Site are for general informational purposes and are estimates, not quotes or professional, legal, tax, or financial advice. Actual prices vary. Always get quotes from licensed pros and confirm dated claims (tax credits, rebates, benefit programs) with the official source or a qualified professional. See our Cost Data Methodology and Editorial Policy.
Advertising and affiliate relationships
The Site is monetized. We may be compensated when you request quotes or connect with our partners, as described in How We Make Money. Monetized outbound links may be marked as sponsored.
Third-party contractors
We work to connect you with licensed, insured professionals (see How We Vet Contractors), but we do not employ, control, or guarantee any contractor or the quality, safety, legality, or outcome of their work. You are responsible for your own due diligence — verifying licensing and insurance, comparing quotes, and reviewing any contract before hiring.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the Site lawfully and not to interfere with its operation, misuse forms, scrape content without permission, or submit false information.
Intellectual property
The Site's content and branding are owned by United Renewals or its licensors and are protected by law. You may not reproduce or distribute it without permission.
Disclaimers
The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including accuracy, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, United Renewals will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the Site or from any interaction with a contractor or partner.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold United Renewals harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Site or your dealings with any contractor or partner.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which United Renewals is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes are effective when posted, as reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
